Chewing Gum: I know ppl from other countries who wished there
was a chewing gum ban because ppl deface the walls of national
monuments etc
Cigarette Prices: Don't smoke if you don't want to pay. Not like it
is good for your health and others.
Casinos: You can never please everyone like above and I'm more
pro-casino than anti-casino so I'm not surprised nor unhappy that
it went through.
Transport Fares: Now, this I find unfair because though the economy
is picking up in certain sectors, it is not throughout the entire
countries and it is going to affect alot of people on the lower
rung of society, pay-wise. Even for those earning a decent amount,
we don't see a need for the raise since their service sucks and I
believe their profits should cover for the new trains they are
going to replace. Don't really take the bus so I can't really
comment but MRT service is sucky and most of the time the air-con
is barely working. This is something that will impact the majority
of Singaporeans and I don't agree to it, unless the profit is not
such an obscene figure.
