To all non-elites like me: earn as much as we can in Singapore, save as much as possible and invest wisely. Then cash out and go to a foreign nation where with our money, we can be become the elite there.

What is an Elite?

Does it mean that a person who is successful in business, makes an obscene amount of money, and owns several properties, is considered an Elite?

Must also such a person, an Elite, speak well and is/be a gracious person as well?

Should an Elite person be of local national or foreign?

Must then an Elite send his/her children to an Elite School? ANd only mix around with other Elite's children, and not mix with commoners?

Is an Elite person, accorded more preference and opportunities than commoners?

Are the Elites in Singapore, categorized as White Horses, or White Elephants, or even White @#$!?

For crying out loud, what is the difference between an elite and a non-elite? Do we judge it by education? Or do we judge it with the number of zeros in our bank account? Where do we draw the line? Do i have to be in the ruling government of S’pore to be called an elite? I have a degree, i have a job, i still eat at a coffeeshop, and i still shit every morning (Well, sometimes…....!). Why the heck do you have to bring yourselves down everynow and then.

I don't believe in division, that's certain.

Start categorizing, and division in society is the by-product!

Don't care what people want to classify themselves as ... just as long as there is a decent judicial system in place. If an "elite" gets itself into trouble, precedence and the legal system must be upheld. If the decision maker feels he's doing his fellow "elite" a favour, these people should just retire for the sake of the rest of the people in this little island Neutral
