The Japanese invasion of China was not prompted by defence of its nation against any aggressors but solely by the aggressive in-born nature of its people.

Their ambitions to invade other countries were carried out with systematic planning to encourage its people to be aggressors and conquorers.

History provided sufficient evidence of their aggressions. First, they started a long term preparation whereby students were systematically taught in schools to desire China's ShanTong Pears. The students were asked : Do you want Shanton pears. Psychologically, the whole generation were prepared to start a war ending with their fated invasion of China in WW II.

If one is to observe what has happened recently, their leaders' visiting of the war hero's shrine was not a chance occurrence. Re-writing of the textbook is a confirmation of the same nationalism to revive their military power.

Their active participation as an ally of US in the Iraq war is not an incidental act as well. This time, the Japanese will use both their economic power and with the help of US its military power to rule the world. The grand design of neo-Japanese Imperialism is unveiling...

All these moves are made subtly but steadily carried out. Let the US beware that the Japanese is on the war path slowly planning out the whole revival with their unwitting assistance and encouragement. Lately encouraged by US who needed Japan as partner in tackling terrorism, it is beginning to flex its military with more physical aggression.

If one is to care the Japanese actions in claiming islands in the China Sea, one will see more evidence of more deliberate attempt to use the war heros as rallying point to revive their past military aggressions.

This aggressive minds among their leaders are unspoken. Minds have now sharp and focused to manipulate their population in the Koitsumi era to shed their post war restraints. It is the unspoken minds of their leaders now that one can find all the future aggression and imperialism. Laughing

What the Americans are or are not thinking is speculative. What the Japanese mind is like is clearly seen in their acts as posted. To the Asian peoples who had suffered from Japanese war and atrocities, they just have to stay alert. If Japanese is so benign and peaceful, these recent acts would not have taken place. Or are these acts my imagination. I am surprised at your naivety. It is such naivety according to Rummerl's Law that people are slaughtered and murdered. Laughing

Japanese people are not like you think so peaceful and full of manners. I don't know the actual closer or personal reasons or circumstances for your pro-Japanese stand. But I will not ask further as you may say what you like too.

Singaporeans have to understand what is going on in Japan and how it affects our national survival. Japanese people are very united inside. If you work in their companies you will see that unlike other foreign companies, Singaporeans will not be able to get promotion over their key men or women. That is another fact about Japanese. So it is not my imagination but fact that they are nationalistic and full of ambitions to expand or take over others.

We need them for certain economic or material benefits and some of us might be married to their people or working in their companies here in Singapore. But whatever the actual stands or reasons for saying pro-Japanese things, all will have to take political views as well and be matured.

We cannot let our self-preservation or survival instinct as Singaporeans go down as well. In a crunch the Japanese people for whom you are speaking may drop all pretences against us because we are a majority-Chinese country. All of us may become their target even if some of us may praise or speak for them because of associations or economic interests.

In order that we will be easily taken over or controlled by them due to their in-born aggressive instincts, I am giving an objective view to explain to all to be more aware. It is not my imagination. Surely the Japanese can defend their stand and do not need your special assistance to do so for them. We have to make sure too that no Singaporean work from within to defend them should the situation get worse one day ? Laughing

nobody is giving special assistance to defend the japanese. what is your purpose of posting here if non-japanese cannot say things that contradict your views? you might as well post in a japanese forum so they can defend themselves. you are a paranoid and a rumourmonger. i am surprised you can give an objective view when your postings are all so bias. we should instead have to make sure that we do not have people who try to stir the s h i t pot and create unnecessary problems.

please refrain from insinuations just because you cant argue your point any better.

I am only trying to balance someone's ove-anxious defending of any views against Japanese's recent spats with its neighbouring countries but now I am being accused of stirring up things. Who was so anxious and put in the most views to fend off criticisms on Japanese recent aggressions every body should be able to see. Laughing

The only sad thing from the recent rallies are that the current Japanese storeowners are made scapegoats for their right-wing groups' failings.And they get blamed for not doing anything to push such a government out.Not everyone is politically minded, some just want to make a decent living.

the japanese started the wars because of greed, they want take over the world. Yet greed is also their downfall, their troubles started when they tried to take over mid islands controlled by USA. When they are defeated, the 1st law they made in their constitution was “War is not desirable” ...and since then, they believe strongly against war. A good reason for Japan to militarise.

A good reason for the world to be wary of China.

A good reason China cannot get arms.

A good reason Taiwan must never be taken over.

A good reason US and allies must intercept.

A good reason China is still threatening.

A good reason to shake Asia.

Why...? Is it very wise for all these...? I don't think so.

People shouldn't be so excited about this.

If China wants Taiwan badly, and Japan ends up militarised, Europe and the world gang up, Asia will stressed up. Can Singapore stays out?

USA will be holding a damned economic embargo...and the military ships of the USA in the middle east will surely try to attack the oil pipeline linking towards China..

They will also try to block off china's trade...of which a significant percentage pass through the Malacca Straits , which again brings Singapore to the situation..

As the top military power of SEA, as a economic superpower in it's own-size,
and as a chinese majority, it would certainly be interesting..to watch the outcome.

China will have no fears of the attacks coming from it's backdoor..as it is landlocked at the back..

All i can tell you is that, it's going to be 1 hell of a blast....1.3 billion pple vs
a combined military joint force...USA might not stay as a super-power for very much longer...

When USA declines..and China takes over Number 1...
When USA has the inability to defend Taiwan...

That is why China is very keen in developing the Kra Canal. If that happens, we can't even count on the Japanese ships calling at PSA. It makes no difference whether we are chinese majority or not.

Will USA be holding a total economic embargo? not sure, 65% of what is sold in K-Mart is made in China, ...... China has taken all the manufacturing jobs for goods bound for USA, how inter-dependent they are is probably an academic question.

that is why china is now making friends with India, and if India and Pakistan (China's traditional friend)also make friends, then China's backdoor is safe. In any case, India and Pakistan will not go to war with China for USA, democracy or not.

And if china turns around and supports the extremists in Afganistan and the area, America will have another problem in hand.

The super-power on the right of Japan already station soldiers on Japan soil, but it is used to "balance" the power of the communists, including north Korea, and China. Japanese forces will be glad to relieve these US forces in this balancing act, to allow the US to handle Iran.

A bombs may not come again, but earthquake and (potentially) vulcano will continue to destroy japan, japan do need a safe place to stay.....story and history may be whitewashed but facts cannot be changed.

Germany was totally devastated in WW1, and with the Paris Treaty preventing them from building armed forces, nobody then could believe that Germany could start another war, but what happened....

China needs to control the ultra nationalist sentiment and educate their people in self discipline and control (may be that's why they need a communist boss) and if they can demonstrate like the Hong Kongers, 500,000 can demonstrate without the need of riot police, then there will be no side effect to their just cause for the protest.

Japan needs to recognise that their grandfathers indeed went to their neighbours house and raped the wife and daughters and killed their fathers and sons, and if japanese leaders stop visiting the yasukuni shrine to pay respect to the war criminals as if they were war heros, then your neighbours will respect you like the Germans neighbours respect the German. Why do this if you have no intention of doing again? for business, for politics, for national pride?? For no matter how you change the history, your grand fathers who were responsible will still be in hell, just make sure that their grand children do not follow them.
