commonsense SG

PatrickLTH SG

Commonsense, I believe they are many more positions and relatives that was not listed. This is not the point. No organisation will put a dumb in any position of the company.

The point is, all these relatives, positions are attained by individual merits.

TehJarVu SG

u are a model singaporean clap clap clap Laughing

lwflee SG

Yes....you are right. Lol. The Lee family has a monopoly on competence! Us peasants should shut up. After all the government knows best.

commonsense SG

Individual merits like what? Being born into the right family?

LazerLordz SG

They are oh so clever geniuses in the known universe.Let's look at them for the guidance of the ages.

not. Evil or Very Mad

oldbreadstinks SG

haha then why do we keep hearing and reading stuff about all the problems they encountered
1 or 2 is individual merit, when so many of your extended family is involved, only an idiot would think they got there on merit

just look at how our army works

plo30360 SG

Individual merit my a**

Joshua1975 SG

the list should be longer than what you had....

used to be cycling/passing/mailing in the e-mail world. than someone get caught for doing this and it stop. maybe still going around....

drawer SG

No comment on this post......I just know that this is another ass raping post. Mr. Green

PatrickLTH SG

You can look at this from two point of view.

1. You are born outside the Lee family, and many of your views are expressed clearly here...... These views are respected as they are.

2. You are born as a Lee family, what do you think... Are you saying there is no merit at all for you to be in the position attained? You tell us.

czechmate SG

Hmm ... is this naivety speaking? I daren't add anything for fear of being locked up in a looney bin Wink

mistyblue SG

now you know you are a slave to the Lee dynasty
and you know that unless your surname is Lee or related to Lee, your birhtright has already condamn you to a life of working for and enriching the Lees

Should we celebrate another awakening?

SMAPLionHeart SG

The list was much longer , actually , you all forget to include other ministers who were the relatives of PM Lee’s mom

SMAPLionHeart SG

Its similar to ancient dynasties whereby the emperor would make his brother , his son (Crown Prince) and his empress's relatives to be in court sessions so as to prevent revolts and overthrowing of the dynasty.

When you share the same blood relations , things are viewed in a different way.

PM Lee is also the Chairman of MAS (which prints money) literally.

Normal family

Son : Dad i want money!

Dad : You think i print money is it?

PM Lee's family

PM Lee's son : Dad i want money!

Dad : How much you want me to print?

commonsense SG

weird enough to have just ONE Lee family (and his extended family too) among 4 millions to have 'make it' based on individual merits .. (by the way.. individual merits or individual-family merits you referring to?) uniquely singapore.

just say for example, what actually had Lee Hsien Yang and Hsien Loong done in the military to earn a BG title? If it isn't cos they are LKY's sons, then what?

i think if this Lee family is in proper democratic countries like USA or UK, it would cause a big huha, and questioning or opposing views would have been splashed on news headlines instead, not just simply 'respected here'.
