[b]Why jam at causeway and 2nd Link
It is a matter of tit for tag.
For the levy imposed on all the users of the 2nd link imposed by
the Malaysian (government or consortium), the Singapore will peg
the same.
For every inconvenience imposed by the Malaysian Custom, the
Singapore will reciprocate the same.
If the Malaysian Custom open 3 booths out of the 20+, Singapore
will do the same.
Why make it convenience for Malaysian to spend their hard earn
ringgit in singapore, causing M government to lose millions in
various form of taxes.
We reciprocate and why make it convenience for Singaporean to spend
their hard earn S$ in Malaysia, causing S government to lose
millions in consumption tax, petrol tax, lost of earning by
businessmen, etc.
Hence the jam.

So the jam benefits both countries? What about the perishable
fruits that pass through? If they rot, both sides stand to lose.
And most are unfazed by the jam.
