How come MRT stations have no rubbish bins?

In addition to your post, I feel that the LRT platforms also have no bins. But downstairs(u have to climb up the stairs to get to the platform :roll got.

i always throw my sweet wrappers on the floor one, rubbish cannot be too big of cos... since the smrt remove rubbish bins, they will be the one sweeping away litters...

Yea. Very tempted to just dump it on the floor.

But now can find more liao, usually a little distance away from the MRT station. don't know what difference it makes other than the inconvinience for us...

well not only mrt stations no rubbish bin, bus interchange also reduce the number of rubbish bin too.
once have to walk from one end to the other end to throw rubbish.
but lan lan, coz it is also for our safety, only feel pity for the aunties and uncles who have to sweep the floor becoz of someone who dump their rubbish on the floor

yah, v inconvenient… but one of the reasons could also be having a rubbish bin means someone might jus throw something really smelly in the bin and stink up the whole place.

How come you generate rubbish?

Maybe you create rubbish while outside the MRT station then go in the station and then start looking for a bin.
Then if you carry it in, you carry it out.
