dlareg SG Man... this is so dumb. Think it's because of the government's crazy drive to make everyone more creative, and be entrepeuners. Think students should ask themselves what they really want. A quality education, or some 'hip' place to be in. NUS is un-rivalled due to it's branding as The Premier University of Singapore. NTU is un-rivalled in due to it's constant churning out of the 'working professional' and SMU is un-rivalled in being the first to liberalise the "entry to uni"... (also holds the record for having the girls who come to school in the shortest skirts). IN reality, the education in S'pore sucks. All uni students know that. Compare with your friends who are labelled "cannot make it" after their A-levels, we have lower pay, lower degrees and yet we slogged like Mad Cows cramming 1.5 times the load of what students overseas do. NUS, NTU,SMU... hmmm.. decide wisely or regret
fymk SG MIT grad? Caltech grad? UC grad? Ai ya don't say lah...of course ivy league and ivy league plus universities are the best ( and the most expensive) ...soli hor.. non scholar-commoner like me $boh lui$ to go study US of A lah.
