Do they speak in glowing praises? I have not heard many SIngaporeans speak in glowing praises of SIngapore's system, in school, at work, among my dad and mom's friends, among my siblings' friends' parents, among teachers at my school and elsewhere even the few people from the press who came to talk with us...that's basically every Singaporean around me, I guess.

So where u get that impression from?

Oh yes. Many of my friends would have like to lived somewhere else if they HAD THE CHOICE and things were easier for them. How the hell are you supposed to leave this accursed place if you have to put a 75k bond?? Where are you going to find that much cash? ok..this only applies to those b4 the age of 18. Well, as for grown ups, migrating isnt easy. Most who wish to leave this place cant because they got no money. So in short, people who wanna live somewhere else cant because they lack the economical means to do so.

The difficulty is not how to leave singapore. You only need a one way ticket! With budget airlines such tickets are dirt cheap. It is when you want to be sure that you can return, that is difficult! It is difficult to find a place where you can migrate, which mean a place you like to go and the place want to accept you!! If you have no money, you go no way, that is the sad story that apply to all poor people in the whole wide world. sigh.....

Work , save and apply to migrate
I left with my savings and the blessing of my family. Came with nothing ....now I have something ...a base which I built myself after sticking in hardship for a year.
If you are determined , you will find a way out.
