10 Reasons Why I Admire Goh Meng Seng

SibeiSuayKia SG

1. He dares to use his real name to challenge PAP

2. Many people hide in front of their computer, refusing to do any action
but he speaks up.

3. Not many people in life is willing to join the "under-dogs"
Most people often like to support the willing "PAP"

4. The threads and posts he made, makes sense

5. He dares to go go into youngpap forum without any fear
of being "censored"

6. Many pple openly support PAP , but secretly support opposition.
But this dude openly support opposition , enough said.

7. This guy isn't like CSJ, who shoots first , talk later, this guy THINKS
Neither is he like the guy who took nudes with the maid

8. This guy is young and heroic, not afraid to challenge the
Emperor and his Royal Advisor , and his Crown Prince
(those three names you know)

9. He brings up issues which are relevant to Singaporeans.

10. He looks at things from different angles.

Careful , the Constables are watching you..might haul you up into the
"Yamen" and behead you soon =D

Of all the points, maybe only 4, 9, 10 are relevant whether he can really help. The rest are more of “I like this guy’s attitude” kind of comment. I do not even fully agree with point 4, 9 and 10. Sigh… this is what makes me afraid of democracy – when people choose base on not who can do the job better, but rather who is more “likeable”.

Dr Chee Soon Juan have all the above qualities also.

CSJ is PAP jester lah...strung up to prove a point. At least uncle goh here can reason things out in sgforums where some singaporeans hang out and discuss his views, while CSJ go overseas and shoot his mouth in front of foreigners .

I don't really like gabrament but when foreigner ask me how is singapore ...I go singapore number 1 ...everything number 1 ...even gabrament no.1 out of courtesy for Singapore. When singaporean ask me what I think of singapore - I just say what I think

Don't need to admire me. Do something about the political culture of our home country.

Would you come forward and help me to run my election campaign when the calling is here? Or at the very least, take up the "Alternative rally reporting" system that I have started back in 1997 and 2001?

Back in 1997, unhappy about how the local mass media reported political rallies, I took the initiative to run around rallies and provide first hand, on the spot report on opposition political rallies. I have given my fair share of independent rally reports on opposition parties, both praising as well as punching them when they erred.

In 2001, I have a few helpers from soc.culture.singapore to help me run more opposition rally reports, on their own free will. They have provided fairly good independent reports on opposition rallies.

I think for the coming General Election, I will have to relinquish my initiatives as my reporting would not be considered as unbias and unpartisan. I hope to find somebody from the middle ground to take up such task. Many reporters are unwilling to show their faces or put up their names. Thus, they would just email me and I normally posted it up without editing, if not defamatory remarks are included in such reports.

You really need some guts to do point 1. Many people are also doing points 2, 5 and 6 (i tried to log on to youngpap forum but can never get in, I suppose some sizing up is done there). Point 3 is just stating a fact of life and supporting the majority usually do not get much attention. Too early to make judgement on pts 7 and 8. It will be his actions on pts 4, 9 and 10 that will bring him into the light, and it is what he has done, or said so far that differentiate him from others who talked only theories and those who cannot identify with people on the ground. His postings is worthy of our attention and his efforts will get our continuing supports, here and on the ground.

CSJ dares to talk and defame, but afraid to go to court.

Play using fair manner also scared...

sorry , i don't dare to help out WP , hehe , even though i secretly support opposition , everything i do is GOVERNMENT involved..

In Singapore, when you tell someone you are from the opposition
They look at you with this kind of eyes -->> Shocked Shocked

neither do i have the assets to go to court if i ever say something wrong ,
and im scared HDB might re-possess my flat..

It's really hard to challenge the EMPEROR , unless your as good as
