Any one can tell me is adding grouond wires to the car really can help to boost up the car performance a bit more?

just what is being done when u add ground wires? sorry i dun know.

Other ways of increasing performance is with the fuel injection settings...i think its called a control chip....but u can replace your original 1 with a chip that has a more aggressive setting.....that shouldnt cost too much...

Grounding will only make your car feel smoother, No increase in power... Slight improvement in fuel consumption though...
Headlight gets abit brighter, car audio gets abit louder...
Will help EFI cars more...
Points to ground are basically, Altanator, Engine Block, Transmission box, Chassis, Firewall, trottlebody.

how does grounding a car make it smoother?????

I thought the only reason why people ground their cars is to lessen static electricity shock that you get from cars..

Seems like the ECU, Trottle Body, Altanator works better after grounding so whole car becomes smoother...

Bhaal, i read half the topic and was bored. Several people posted the question "how did grounding a car work" and there were some lame answers but the question was ignored largely.

To be perfectly frank, i think car grounding is a load of shit..

Dakar, Thanks for your reply, I didn't see it before.

I'm not automotive electrician, but i thought cars are 12v DC whilst houses are AC and therefore need an earth.

Car electrics are designed to work without an earth.
and that's why i think grounding a car is a waste of time.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I felt a difference when reving between 2800 - 3200 rpm,
My ICE was louder, more willing to rev and car goes up to 120 more smoothly...
