I don't see why companies will be happy to have employees leaving in search of greener pastures.

tspg SG

Agree. Normally the more capable will leave first because they can find better job elsewhere. Wats left is the deadwood.

i think those leave first die first.....if he succeeds, i congratulate him, if he fails, please try again.......

if u wanna survive, go create another Suzhou Gongyeyuan at the North Western part of China lor......where there r high plateu and earthquakes!!!

CX SG

if u are confident of your abilities and sure of brighter prospects, then is not IF succeed... its WHEN succeed.

most pple are not so cock to quit before securing a better offer.

if a company dunno how to keep its talented pple, then they will surely lose them...

then u can't consider it a successful cost-cutting exercise anymore... the down-time involved to reallocate work and hire cheaper staff will totally screw u over...

SnowFlag SG

Because the company can get rid of the older employees without paying anything and then save again by recruiting the cheaper ones Mr. Green

SnowFlag....many people don't know what's happening la.....go find your greener pasture lor.........if u think u r indispensable.....

I work in the private sector, so I know the current situation.

BTW, I was talking about companys saving on the retirement fee when employee resign on their own.
