I hope the new government will focus more (action & results speaks louder than words):

- lowering the unemployment rate;
- closing the gap between the rich and poor;
- be more compassionate;
- curb high cost of living (Housing, Medical, etc);
- emphasize more on culturizing the mindset of our ppl. (respect each other irregardless of $$, job title, type of housing, race, religion, language, etc)
- bring back the kampong friendliness that is lost.

Where is the new government ?

The people that are taking over are already making the decision for the past few years.

Ask yourself: "With the so-called good predicted economic forecast, what is the things that is rising ? Cost !"

Be prepared, what will be coming soon ?

The fee that is "not risen" for the past few years will be increased.

With the fee increase in SBS Transit and MRT, where is the better comfort of the buses ?? where is the camera ?

Please remember that the small state of singapore have increase another post of Minister Nanny.

Who is paying his salary ?

if the present batch of government is already established, why do we need a nanny ?

Is the new PM not established enough ???

So, is there a "hand-over" ????

Past policy = efficiency = S$14 billion HDB surplus + S$1-2 billions annual non-budget government surplus + S$1-2 billion vehicle taxes + Going into businesses + Investing surpluses and CPF funds overseas + cost recovery policy in provision of government services.

Can't see entrepreneurship in this formula,

Can't see job creation in this either,

Only see high costs and loss of economic competitiveness.

CHANGE:

New Singapore success = Total efficiency (not government efficiency) = lower public sector high wage cost + outsource high-cost non-critical government services + reduce high costs/fees + adopt acceptable fee/charge formula + stop charging land costs on acquired lands or where paid for by tax payers + stop double charge on vehicles + spin the money and make it go round to benefit all businesses + stop competing for local businesses + Pull back huge overseas investment to re-invest in local economy + grant opportunity to all not erudite scholars + mass participation (adopt doable work processes + practical knowledge application.
