wait a minute. something is wrong somewhere. how did the word lame
come in? sorry, i think you misunderstood where we are coming from.
we are inviting people to share their personal stories for a
researcher project. we are collecting stories and commentaries from
the man in the street. There is nothing 'special' nor is it, i
stress again, a govt project. and the word 'bribe' ?!! wah strong
word.
and i thought most singaporeans love
freebies.
the words "LAME" and "BRIBE" came from me... a "freebie" IS a
bribe.
it is not asking u to love yr country and all that yadada. it is
about asking ourselves questions, about having an opinion, about
discovering issues about ourselves, about laughing at ourselves,
about knowing how we are all connected... There are many ways to do
it. e.g. Jack Neo does it very well via his movies, Mr Brown and
his columns..
u seem to be asking yourself a very limited range of questions
then...
lets keep an open mind. Nothing is lame in this world. who says
you have to read someone's memiors to understand how the nation
came about? no, you can just ask anyone in the street, the taxi
drivers, the uncles in the kopitam, the aunties in the wet market,
and from there, form your own opinion.
like i said... believe what u wanna believe...
Let us continue to push the OB markers. Just make sure we don't
cross it.
talk about lame...
Peace.
