Why be a teacher???? Look at the NTU degree/work/deals for
prospective teachers.
In a nutshell, as our yanks and yankwannabe's like to say:
As a prospective teacher, you:
-train for 5 or 6 years
-get paid to train to be a teacher, like $3k per month?
-if u do well in some exams, get top X%, u get special GRANTS, =
more $$$ per year
-after u graduate, you are automatically employed in the MOE
-IRON rice-bowl Job where it is impossible to be unemployed.
-If u rise within the ranks = more $
-Holidays throughout the year
-just gotta print notes, catch ppl with long hair, assert your
ego
-mark papers, sometiems dun mark also can 
Man i wouldn;t mind being a teacher here. But its a degrading
job
