Regardless of what has happened, regardless whether you like NS
or not, NS is part of a guy's life in Singapore and will always
be.
Instead of blaming on whose fault was it, we should be glad the
sacrifice was for the nation when they were doing their duty to the
country and to their family. They pave way to a better training
regime that you should be glad about. And you are not doing so by
complaining about NS because they have sacrificed. Training is
never simple and easy, because if it is, everybody and me myself
would have to worry for our safety if there is any sort of
emergency.
Cuz nobody is well trained enough to protect the country. We are
able to sleep peacefully at night because of our army. If there is
no NS in Singapore where population is so thin, there would be no
army, at that point, you would have to worry about sleeping at
night.
