In the "Military Nuts" section of this sgForums, it was reported
that in a recent air combat exercise between the US Navy Air Group
and the Israeli Air Force, the IAF was able to win several dog
fights over the US Navy Pilots.
With the IDF being supreme, both in training, equipment and
technologies, which Neutral Force can challenge the IDF ?
Representatives from the Norwegian Armed Forces were stationed
along the northern borders separating Israel and Lebanon, as part
of a UN Observation Force.
Despite their status, the Norwegians have been ignored time and
again by the IDF, when the IDF steam rolled across the border to
hunt down Hisbollah fighters in Lebanon.
With a stubborn and hawkish Sharon, and an intransigently proud old
hawk in Arafat, both sitting on opposite sides of a table, can
anyone realistically hold these two together long enough for any
talk to last even an hour ?
