No More Picnic
Toyota's Picnic 7-seater, once the best-selling full-size MPV
here, will be retired this year.
The trustworthy workhorse, introduced here back in 1997, will
not have an immediate replacement. Borneo Motors is now sourcing
for another multi-seater to take its place.
For those who want something conservative but tried and tested,
the 2-litre Picnic is now going under $76,000, down from around
$155,000 back in 1997.
You could, of course, opt for the more compact (and modern)
Toyota Wish, which is substantially cheaper. A new Wish will arrive
towards the end of the year.
