FYI,
East Timor is now called Timor Leste.
As for SEA games, i m don't know. Timor people are culturally and
racially different from Asian/SE Asian (malayo/indo-china race) and
they are more related to Pacific races like Australia's Aborigines
and other similar Pacific races (black coloured ones) e.g. Papau
New Guinea ones.
They could chose to be part of Either Asia or be Oceania since they
are at the Border line area.
For everyone's clarification, Australia/NZ and other Pacific
nations while part of Asia-pacific, are NOT part of ASIA. Australia
is already a Continent and they are collectively defined under the
Oceania 'continental' region with Australia as their Continent,
unlike other 'Continental' region - i.e. main Continent plus
islands, it cannot use 'Australia' since Australia is already used
as a Country's Name.
