Aloha is best for quarantine

The govement said that Govement is going to put all House Quarantine Order (HQO) in the Aloha. They are thinking to put them in the St John's Island becoz

"...... it started life as a quarantine centre for early immigrants during the late 1980s. Indentured labourers from india and China would stay there for 40 days to see if they showed symptoms of infectious diseases such as cholera or tuberculosis (TB). If they were healthy, they are allow to go to mainland to work.. Si tiday, with the HQOs become a vital part io the SARs battle, would St John's be used again?"

What is your view? Should they put them into aloha resort or St john?

They thought of putting them in Tekong. Talk about that. But anything is possible.

Putting on the Island ah......Is it that dangerous?? I mean, SARS is dangerous, are irresponsible people more dangerous?

There will definitely be uproar in the public if the quarantine is to be on St Johns.

Sars is dangerous, but irresponsible citizen is more dangerous.. but if everyone is cooperate and responsible and patient. sars can become a nothing... become tame.. Remember, we must tame de sars and not vice versa.

i am hoping for early recorver of world wide sars patient.. Sad

if everyone is cooperates enuff, gov no need to put this HQO at all.. and even camera. i think becoz they dun wan to waste too much money on putting each camera on every HQO people, so might as well "prison" them at aloha or watever island in thier mind! as wad Mr. Lee hsieng long say before, sars is a long term illneass.. as long as everyone is cooperates enuff. everyone can resume to normal life.
