White Salt stains on shirt

Recently I exercise a lot to get back in shape. Just got a good Silver for my IPPT.
I notice I perspire very easily now.
A few days back I was under the hot sun and when I came back to the air-con room, My sweat dried on my shirt...and I was shocked to find white salt crystals on marking my sweat stains. And the crystals are quite thick, not the type u can rub off. Very awful until I have to change my shirt immdiately in office

Am i taking too much salt in my food, or have I over exercise?
Or is this normal? Pls dun ask me to see a doctor.

I've never encountered such Shit in my life before. but maybe you can use the salt crystals for cooking, then you dont have to buy salt anymore.

wahhh,y like that 1....,i too never(n i hope its never!) encounter this,even though i take in lots of unhealthy salty foods,guess u better go n consult a doc rather than asking us here Neutral

My shirt also got these crystals before but is because I wear same shirt for 2 days for a course.

ha, common on cotton shirt, dat time i walk to ntu gym, sit down in the gym then when i go toilet realise got fine white salt on my back and front of the shirt, outline of my sweat. but now i wearing under armour shirts...very good, cooling and helps sweat evaporate fast. Smile

1. usually people who do alot of sports tend to perspire more easily - the body is used to removing heat efficiently through this mechanism

2. however, if it is not the amount of perspiration, but the tendency of stains that have increased, then perhaps you may wish to consult a doctor.

This is normal. I've seen so many men with such problem.
Happens when you perspire easily.

I was worried to encounter such problem. So I wear a thin T-Shirt underneath my shirt. It's abit warm initially. After sometime, you'll get used to it.

By evening, at least it's your T-Shirt that has the 'salt crystals'. Your L/S shirt should still look clean.

Most importantly, you'll not smell bad. The smell comes from the sweat after they dried up on your L/S shirt.
