MCA had to listen to your MALAYsian PM - when Liong Sik Ling and
Lim Ah Lek had their famous in-house battle; did they have any
further say about their personal "battle royale".
For his continuous rule over MCA, (guaranteed by the MALAYsian PM
wielding ISA law in hand), the MCA boss is now beholden to the
MALAYsian PM.
Unfortunately, the highest show piece rank that any NON-Malay can
ever attain in the MAF will only be a Brigadier General; as all
other ranks above this, will be reserved for Muslims only - and
also a 'BUMIPUTRA'.
Amazing that the MAF dare to have a 4-star General (in the Army,
Air Force and Navy) with a screwed up organisation with a size that
is only a quarter of the SAF.
That alone speaks of the quality of the personnel that are put in
their respective commands.
Our Military Commanders are not just show piece generals to match
any overseas military commanders in stars on their shoulders.
We have no inferiority complexes to overcome.
We know that we are small in land size, and that is a big plus in
our attitude towards the real world; we don't need to be bigger
than necessary.
Unfortunately, our northern cousins always think that they are our
bigger brother; and that they can be as big as the USA, even
adopting part of the stripes of the US Flag.
