jOhO SG when i used to drive i'd spend at least 400 a month on petrol. that's not including my cash card top ups!! but then that time i was doing sales so i guess it'll be more than i gave up the car and now i take bus since i'm not doing sales anymore... driving in sg is ex... hmm we can start a whole new topic becos of this ERP cum rise in public transport fares etc...
Informer9563 SG Sigh.... u're right man, car ownership in S'pore is very costly ! I spend abt S$ 40 every two days for petrol, and that's just between work and home and sometimes just short errands elsewhere !

Xcert SG Ur petrol company and the kinda of petrol grade that U use is also important....for me....I roughly use $200++ for petrol bills every month....usage is from home to school and back....and maybe trips to town on weekends.....I put petrol at BP stations......

jOhO SG u know all this petrol talk makes me remember a boss whom i worked for at an italian cafe in australia. he drives a farrari (modena 360) and told me this: Pump your petrol at night becos the temperature is lower and petrol contracts (like most other things) so u get more for the same volume. i guess in australia the temp drops much more at nite than singapore but my goodness he drives a farrari and can still come up with this shit!?!? i almost needed my colleagues to hold me back from strangling him. ahhaah well there's gotta be a scientific explanation for him being wrong but the point is - the richest pple are often the most stingy!!
