About three to four months ago, our Straits Times featured some
very successful persons from ITE, who went up the ladder of
academia and achieved even a Master's Degree in Mechanical
Engineering.
If you are really good and perform consistently in ITE, graduating
from ITE with good grades, I believe there is opening for you at
the Polytechnics in Singapore.
From the local Polytechnics, your results will bring you onward to
one of the two Universities in Singapore, or alternatively you can
study overseas.
Many overseas Universities give high regard to the Polytechnic
training in Singapore, and will shorten their Degree course by a
year (depending on your choice of study).
Don't lose heart if you have landed in ITE; it probably make life
easier for you to cope.
Albert Einstein - the father of atomic science - was a late
starter, and probably would have gone to ITE had it existed during
his time.
