HEAT don't work very well on massed troops lah... an IDF
"consultant" actually observed one of our exercises and the rambos
who thought they could start off the contact with a big bang got
effed...
its widely used against fixed positions and bunkers, that is true,
but its just a waste of ammunition to try and use it to hit an
infantry squad on the move. the explosion isn't very big and the
explosive force is directed forward of its point of impact and not
outwards where it'll kill more people. the trajectory is also
rather straight so u'll probably just kill one unlucky sucker who
happens to be in the way...
and if it hits the ground, u'll just see a small fash and a puff of
smoke and lots of people firing back at u. no big bang
bang...
use a 40mm HE for best effect. armbrust against massed troops is
not very effective at all.
