The photo show it is in 4 tubes. Anyone knows whether it come witha 3 tubes?

Anza Andy SG

I spoted a large green truck (7-10 ton) with 3 large tube (about 15m) on the back around Y.C.K. sometime ago. The truck carry a airforce logo. Can it be S300?

wombat SG

I doubt so. SG do not move assets around in plain sight. Also please try keep to information released in public domain. Smile

Hello Anza Andy

I agree with black joe says. The discussion should focus on information avilable in the public domain. There are regular personnel in this forum and MSD is an efficient organisation.

Anza Andy SG

I do not agree with u. I am not doing anything against Singpore Law. I just trying to conform wherether Singapore got S300. Is that against the rule?

CX SG

if its not cleared for public domain then publicly discussing it in a public forum constitutes a security breach.

and the fact that U can't confirm it means that u are NOT cleared to know.

besides, even if anybody here was in a position to confirm it, they wouldn't tell you anything can't already find in the public domain.

don't derive cheap trills from thinking that u know or saw something exclusive... loose talk costs lives.

tripwire SG

eh.... the S300 vehicle has a length of 10meter, your 15m truck seems to be for a different weapon in the SAF... something that will make maharaja shit in his pants... so i would advise against talking in public..... heheee...

kY|e-_-o SG

ermm..juz wondering wat is a S300...
can anyone enlighten me? Mr. Green

tripwire SG

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Rolling Eyes its a SAM... Surface to Air Missile.... with 300 km range...

Cool Cool Cool another way of putting it.... ahhem..... its RMAF's mother of doom..... Mr. Green

simply saying... if RSAF have it... all the RMAF pilots would rush to resign from RMAF.....

Matlaysia SG

were got 300 km you think is cruise missile is itt. only about 80-100 km lah. The chinese puts it close to the taiwan strait to repell incoming taiwanese air strike. But now with HF-3, the chinese will now worry about their missile

bigballs11 SG

Mr. Green my spy network think it is contain the MX ballastic missile

To Anza Andy ,

Need a more detailed description of what you thought you saw ?

Tripwire ,

The 15m. is refering to the lenght of the tubes .

For a 7-10 tons truck the lenght is app. 10 metre + / -.

The current trend is that SG has been to be extensively involved Cool Cool in the development of SG weapons esp. for non-US systems.

So there is good chance that the SG versions / models are quite differrent form the originals system so much so that its org. spec may not apply Shocked Shocked

Rolling Eyes
Hardware are not the real secrets BUT the SOFTWARE sercets ARE

tripwire SG

its true...!!! it has 300 km range.. not only that.. it got multiple hit capability... after it hit one RMAF plane.. the same missile will bounce to the next RMAF plane and so on.... until all the RMAF plane kenna bounce out of the sky!!! Mr. Green

and if we pay the russian a bit more money... they will give us their latest INVISIBLE version!!! u cant see it on the ground... and you cant see it in the air!!! wwuwuwuwuuuuuuu.......

i TC TC abit hehee...

YourFather SG

Actually, if Malaysia does get the SuperHornet, then they will have less to fear about any S-300 threat. This is because the IDECM suite of the SHornet is optimised against that particular threat. The SHornet may be crappy aerodynamically, but its avionics are worth serious respect.

Anza Andy SG

Sorry what I saw was in L.C.K. not Y.C.K. In a forest beside a small rocky road. The length of the vehicle with 3 large long tube is about 15 m. Beside the tubes vehicle there is also a unimock type alike vehicle with something like griaffe radar (about a time bigger) on it.
What is the range of S300(S10)? Is it expensive? I think China, India, korea and cypus have it also.

EXCO SG

Could it be an I-HAWK you saw in its transport containers? Dun assume and start speculating on the S300 when we dun have confirmed reports, it gets us nowhere.

kY|e-_-o SG

ermm..this S300 is kind of interesting...
can anyone gimme a webpage that have pics and info of the S300?... wats the full name anyway?

wombat SG

Sigh...you still don't get it. As long is not offically announced by Mindef, whatever things you see / encounter / handle is classified....and not for public consumation.

Even if you see Elvis giving concert in LCK, and SAF no announce it....the public is not to know. Mr. Green

This is a public forum, and I belive non of us here wish to test the efficency of the MSD / ISD.

laser51088 SG

yep, ISD always looking out for such stuff, esp. since we talking about military specs now. . .

and the S300 sounds like one hell of a missile described by tripwire, and same missile bounce of one plane after killing it?!!! sounds too good to be true. . .

Orcishwarrior SG

Laughing Of course it is classified if those ppl like us go into
the base and saw these classified stuff the government will have headache trying to hid them hehehee.especially internet is borderless
