HARIMAU SG INCURSION means your fly boys made an illegal entry into our airspace w/o informing the ATC in advance/did not get butterworth approvals(HQ IADS for FPDA). the airspace usage needed cause your fly boys has been issued a standing order not to make contact with RMAF boys in order to 'hide'certain features of the Vipers like Elsira jammers and stuffs like that.In short RMAF now do have the capabilities to shoot down any vipers (not like during the F5 era)-so you asked for a permission now.
EXCO SG Now i get what you mean... Please state your initial point clearly... I dun have info on this issue thus i will not comment on it, however i think RSAF has no need to infringe any airspace boundaries nor ask for permission to overfly Malaysia.
Viper52 SG If the electronics like the Elisra jammers(if the RSAF has them) are not turned on theres no way even the RMAF can gain a single iota of intel from them even if an RMAF officer was in the back seat of the F-16. Thats the same reason why the Americans never turned on the F-15 radars when the Russians flew their Su-27s with F-15s during an exchange visit to Russia.
HARIMAU SG Jammers could works if the pilots turn on his pulse doppler -that how israeli jammers even the ASPJ utilised the same concept-but Fulcrum do not need do that -IRST boys-that's the key=your jammers wont work on Russian glass balls. Furthermore... with RSAF E2C in the sky... our falcons can practically do intercept with its radars off... why RSAF wants to overfly malaysia airspace?? because of flight time... to fly over malaysia to get to our trainning space in south china sea is faster, conserve more fuel then having to fly around malaysia... Before we have the KC-135 in singapore... the falcons cannot fly to south china sea and train and still got sufficient fuel to come back to singapore... BUT OUR KC-135 is now operational... so no problem liow......
