Well, all I can say is our friends up north do not follow the
"diplomatic rules".
Agreement sign liao...black and white, can null and change. E.g.
CIQ issue. Keep changing their word. #@$!#[email protected]
Worse!.....want backpay for the water??!!! Ask any businessman,
contract sign liao, years later...can claim backpay? You are
expected to honor the terms of the contract.
The water issue...I simply see it as a supply and demand. If we can
make our own water cheaper than their selling price, why should we
buy from them?? Also not as if we not willing to pay more, but at a
reasonable price.
Previously is bcos we no choice, and they hold it as a noosh around
our neck, and wanted to jack up their price.
But once new H20 is announced, they must have realised they
miscalucated their move, and now trying to "save face" ??
