it could be became a reality…....we can rant and chant all we want about re-joining m’sia….....but we could be a economic and military powerhouse in this region if re-merger did however take place…........not this generation…...maybe two or three more generations….....who knows…..

IF the Chinese becomes the majority of the population.Its hard to develop a country with extremist and fanatics muslims.

Being Chinese or not is not a factor which caused Singapore to leave Malaysia. Nor will be a factor for us to rejoin. (Never in my lifetime!)

Singapore trys its best to create a fair chance for everyone, regardless of race or creed. Unless those terms are met, it will be unlikely even in the future for us to even consider a merger.

will we have the right to plan for our future there…....will we have the freedom of speech or religion there…....will we be happy….prospers…...feel at home…have a sense of pride . .......for mi…singapore is the place where i feel all this n my heart(no where else).......and where it is my home…..i dun think and hope we will have to join them…...however who knows our govt in 100 yrs time sux till no choice merge again…..at that time where pple are hungry and poor we will not speak with pride that….....we will always be independent…no way abt merging with malaysia….(there will be a time where SINGAPOREANS have to kneel for survival….as it is the same for every civilisation in the world ,strong or weak….however our govt and people will not make this happen….or at least so soon)

Singapore has already gained itself a voice and footing in the world. All will be lost through merger. While currently, we have the infrastructure to function as one country, Singapore and Malaysia cannot merge for political and social reasons

Malaysia is still pretty corrupted at the moment. What with their police still tking petty bribes all over the place. Some hanky panky probably goes on at governmental level too. I'm also interested in what exactly did Anwar do wrong? (speak against Mahathir or sodomize his driver) The Anwar incident may be kept under wraps now, but the public has yet to learned the truth behind it.

Singaporeans will also NOT want to belong to a Muslim country. Not that we are racist, but I find that equal opportunites in Singapore is better for all concerned.

Lastly, if the PAS come here for Elections, i'm getting the hell out of here!!!!
