Stories had it that the whole patrol jumped into the river,
leaving only one sentry...all were shot except for the sentry. The
bodies were then brought back to their camp in Holland Road where
they were washed.......
The Indonesian paratroopers reportedly came over in 3 transport
planes, one crashed, the other 2 discharged their dangerous cargo
over Kota Tinggi, hoping to establish contact with local
anti-Malaysian elements...
I think the RAF was in a position to shoot down the remaining 2
planes, but command and control got screwed up.......
