Greece had beaten all odds against them to lift the European
Championship trophy by once again beating host nation Portugal in a
1-0 victory.
Angelos Charisteas' 57th-minute header and yet another superb
display of organisation and discipline from Otto Rehhagel's team
rained on the hosts' parade.
Congrats for the Greeks and the whole nation will announce public
holiday to celebrate the country's sensational victory!
