Not that they sounded like in the CD, but it was actually really
the CD playing and the boys ad-libbing, not singing live.
Anyway, not that they are not able to sing live, coz I heard their
singing in their Taiwan concert on ABCDEF4 and their vocal skills
had improved vastly as compared to how they had performed in their
debut album, especially Jerry. He amazed me with his improvement
actually, considering he was so busy with his hectic schedule.
Apparently, he was working for 34hours straight before attending
the rehearsal 2 days before the actual concert. You can see he is
really tired lor. Also, the day before the concert, the other 3
were given a break to rest their voices and bodies, but he still
had to fly to Japan for a recording and rush back after that to
prepare for the concert. But he is really hardworking, I must say.
In fact, I believe the other 3 had actually commented before that
he is the most hardworking of them all, but he always makes sure he
is punctual and on time...don't you just admire him??
As for the other 3, Zaizai's delivery was not very well articulated
(probably because of his Ilan accent) and a little muffled,
especially when he sang Andy Lau's songs during the concert, but
his voice is my fave. Vanness' voice is the public vote for being
the best, so it speaks volumes about his singing prowess. Ken's
voice which is more raw is more suited for singing rock-styled
songs, like "Ai Bu Hui Yi Zhi Deng Ni".
