Help! Harassed by psycho, what actions to take? =(

Hello. I'm new here and I hope that people with similar experiences or can help me with this harassment problem:

Recently, my contact number and address has been posted online WITHOUT PERMISSION on dating sites. Sites include gay sites and those one night stand type.

Horny men would come right to my doorstep asking for me or even someone who doesn't even exist. This is causing much distress to my family of five... I have young siblings. The peak number was around 5 in just ONE night. They come at the wee hours of morning and has disrupted my entire family's sleep when they knock persistently on the door.

I have received messages/whatsapps from men and sometimes even nudes owing to this.

I have an idea of who is behind this but I'm at a loss at what to do next. Police reports have been made last year but the case has been closed for months. This harassment has been ongoing for one year already, on and off.

Any suggestions would be great appreciated. Thanks.

Post a notice on the door explaining your situation and give a warning that people sexually harassing you will be arrested...

And call/email the dating websites attaching your police report to order them to take them down.

Haiz... Means I have to actively search for the fake profiles and postings he make online and take down one by one everytime one pops up?

Someone I used to hang out with until I realised that he is quite psycho. He mentioned that he did this to ex-gfs and people who offended him too. Seriously childish.

This method of harassment is actually quite ingenious... Getting people to unknowingly help you do the dirty work. It is also hard to trace back, as proven by the closed police case.

Let all who is reading this know the importance of keeping personal information private unless you ABSOLUTELY can trust that person. Even a hp number can result in getting spammed with calls and weird messages. Girls especially be careful!

Help spread the word about this potential danger which is not commonly known if possible... He has even messaged my Facebook friends before I blocked and privated my account.

If you are very certain who is the culprit.

You can get a lawyer to write a cease and desist letter to him.

If he does not remove the materials from the sites , legal action will be served against him.

His ex girlfriend can also be called upon as witness.

Take information from men who calls u up or visit your house. Ask where they found your address and contact so you can trace the origin.

Bullies are cowards, they only prey on the weak.

This kinna of thing I very familar with because I got some enemies outside.

I can safely say the culiprit is sombody you know, ie your colleguge, friend or relatives. Let this matter be known to all those who know your address and Hp no. Just tell them you've made a police report regarding the gays and nude man.

I can assure you all the gays will stop coming after you tell them you've made a police report. Show them the report if they say they dun believe.

Like what Jojobeach had said, you are not at your wits ends. Get a PI, lawyer and anyone that can help you. Such nasty psycho cannot be left alone or he will hurt even more people. Get to know who are his victims (ex gf...etc), band together and form a force against him.

Thank you for all your suggestions! Really appreciate how you people gave me your valuable insights. I'll definitely redirect all those unwanted visitors to that SOB and consider a lawsuit.

If you all must know, that guy used to be a friend of mine but then slowly I began to suspect that he began to treat me like a boyfriend, being overly clingy and such. Totally not into gay stuff so I brushed him off. Afterwards, he began his nonsense and never stopped since then.

Do keep the ideas coming. Hope that justice will be served soon.
