I think i really adore this girl at work and i noticed that we both are leaving work in a few more weeks so i'm planning to ask her out during that last day of mine. She is average looking but to me, she is cute/pretty because of her personality. She is really funny, fun to talk to, can be socialize, you know... all of that. A girl that can make you laugh is a score point for me.

But here's a problem, I've been asking opinions about her through my friends. They all said "she's not that pretty, bro" "Dude, are you serious? go for the other one, she is more pretty" etc etc. This is where it gets really uncomfortable. I like her but with all these comments makes me feel odd and nervous being around her with my friends. To be honest, I do like another girl though but she is considered to be really good looking among most female workers there. But i still prefer the girl that i mentioned previously.

Please someone, help me.... get me out of this awkward situation. I really like her and planning to ask her out but...i dont know why, im afraid my friends will leave such remark on us. Advice please

All that matters is you not those around you. It is so rare to find guys not going for looks when looking for girlfriends. You indeed is not a shallow guy. Go for her. Do not care what others think.

It is not a bad idea to have a pretty wife or girlfriend. What is inside the heart and the character of the girls matter most. Do you want a pretty girl with bad character or an average looking girl with nice personality and you have no problem communicating with her? But if you have both good looks and nice personality girlfriend, you have the best of both worlds.

guys thank you for your support but this leads to my other new problem now and i need some advice please.

This girl that i've been trying to ask her out is my fun friend as in we talked and talked plus joking around etc. So we can be considered to be a good friends. So that being said, im afraid of asking her out because she may have a different view on me and that will overturn of what we are currently having. I really trying my best to shut her off my mind but i cant... what is this feeling? It is like i cant stop thinking about her but i know we are friends. I really do not know what to do.
