Hello,
I just wanted to ask how you guys actually man up?
I hate always being seemingly 'weak' and inferior to
people...
I don't really know how to deal with problems like people's
unhappiness and when they critisize me, i just brush it aside
because i just don't care or is to tired to respond; people then
take that as a sign of weakness..
When people confront me, i normally don't react much or just let
them do what they want because i can get really critical and
confrontational really fast and then things will turn ugly, thus it
is also taken as being weak.
SO how do you man up and 'defend' yourself when people disturb
you or confront you.
Acting non-chalant and "boh chap" is your defense mechanism
against criticism or "attacks". Your weakness is nothing but
fear.
If you need to man up.. simple... do everything right, sensibly
and honestly.
That way.. no one will need to criticise your laziness,
sloppiness and messiness. No one can fault a faultless
person.
If there is conflict.. seek to resolve the root of the problem.
Brushing off is being irresponsible , or perhaps you fear facing
the problems because you have no solution.
Acting non-chalant is your means of AVOIDING resolution.
Being helpful and proactive and the ability to focus on
resolving problems/obstacles, is strength in
character.
