Dog in opposite block barking non-stop

As per title. Barking started since a couple days ago and is getting worse.

Barking starts in early afternoon and lasts all the way to 10 PM at night, and then continue further all the way to next day's afternoon and so on....the dog seems to be able to bark 48 - 96 hours non-stop and it's driving my family crazy.

It's loud enough for one to be able to hear it from several blocks away, and it's a shrill, high-pitch bark that echoes thru the neighbourhood, so we believe it's a small dog. It gets insane at night and the ear blocks doesn't help much.

Am thinking of calling the police tonight as it's wearing our family down mentally, but if I dunno which is the exact unit, what do I do? I wonder if the police will be hardworking enough to comb each unit in the entire block to find out the source of the bark.

Can someone kindly suggest?

get some PRCs and give them a claypot.. they'll know what to do

The police are not going to comb one whole block for a noisy dog.

If they do that, then they really have nothing better to do.

May I suggest instead that you get a few friends together. Each person will recce several floors.

Then you should be able to find the unit with that noisy dog pretty quickly.

Then type up a nice letter and slide it under the door.

If the noise keeps up, sic the police on them.

Buy a dog whistle and blow back. The high pitch sound emitted by the dog whistle can only be heard by the dog and now by the owners. This way you get to retaliate back at the dog by hurting its ears.

this axxhole..cheapsake..never know how to keep dog..and make it a national racist issue,...sure to get attention and get the MP or even PM involve...haha.
