Anyone else into the sport that's called Ultimate or Ultimate
Frisbee? I started playing 2 months ago and now I'm hooked. I do it
almost every weekend... I'm getting better but I still can't jump.
Simi si Ultimate??
- 2 teams, 7 players each (usually), 1 frisbee. You start at one
end zone of the field and aim to pass the disc to a team mate at
the other end zone.
- Both teams start within the end zones and the team that won
the last point starts by tossing the disc to the other team.
Basically, you score at the other end to where you start.
- When you catch a disc you can make only 1 step in any
direction before you toss it to someone else. You can toss in any
direction. Everyone else can move anywhere.
- You can win back possession when you intercept a pass by
catching the disc or knocking it down, or when the disc lands on
the ground or out of bounds.
- No contact allowed although you can mark an opponent and count
him/her out when he/she is holding the disc. A pass has to be made
before '10' is reached.
Simple enough? Plenty of running up and down the field or beach
is guaranteed!
