around 18 months...what kind of freak would be drilling, knocking every few days for such period?

Thats why I'm so annoyed with it.

Have been kinda quiet down for a week and started drilling again yesterday (27/06/12). And from 8pm onward till 11pm he have been dragging stuff, you knw those noise whereby ppl drag furniture. at least still bearable than the drilling.

1) report nea, list all the time you complain to various dept. File a report CMC (community mediation centre) to irritate them.

2) report AVA, as you state they have big dogs (plural), HDB and AVA only allow 1 toy dog for HDB, no plural and no big breed... report the dogs....

Use alh long tactic, throw paint, pig head, fish head or whatever head on their door, or take the whole block plants and place it infront of their door so that they open the door only, wha, new garden by the Bay

same thing happened to me......with noisy ones upstairs.then when i went up to talk after many years of torture,i discovered someone had already put graffati n pig head on the noisy neighbours door.

If pig or shark fin still cannot work, then buy a padlock head and lock their front door, if got extra cash, buy three padlock head, those with combination also good, let them go and figure out the combination, like this, no time for noises

I had called up NEA regarding the noise of that unit, but they cant help.

NEA - They only deal with commercial noise(construction), residential noise(house owner) falls under HDB purview

AVA - Pets noise

so in the end still comes back to HDB, I will continue to call them until they do something.

Then u go buy one of those noisiest motorbike, put it in your house, everynite full throttle it, BBBNBBBBRBRRRRRRORORMMMMMM!!!! that time, only LTA can help
