Yes true, for outstanding loan, loan shark will ask for money. Tat is why have no choice but to pay off outstanding loan.

Sell house if have to, to pay off debt. Or else, TS life is going to be miserable, TS's project will be affected. Emotional stress.

But I know for a fact, after family disown the son, after settling the debts, any future debt, loan sharks will not chase the family anymore because they become wary of the risk when they chase the son for debts. Officially family can disown the son, but secretly la, mebbe still in contact - secretly.

Call police oso no use. Some police got connection wif loan shark. When police come, police accomplice will warn the loan shark not to come at tat time. Some more, loan shark come at time police not active. Police canot guard yer home for 24 hours.

Is there a rule in loanshark world that you disown the son - future debt no need to pay !!!

If like that why new house owner get harrass - neighbour of different floor also harass - they totall no relationship !!!

My 666 gang can help, but you also need to pay quite a high amount, if one or two loan shark no problem, but 30++ loanshark can be quite a problem, paste a 666 on yr house, they will know.

Some loanshark are resonable because they want to get the money first, so dun get conned, you and your Dad have to think properly, got money, loanshark are sure reasonable, at 20yo, borrow loan shark already, I at least loan from loandolphin , wha, seibei clever hor. I think your parents also need counselling, sorry to say that, they never really take care and keep a look out for your brother.

It is very stressful if you owes them, cos you never know what will happen to you and your family, both in house and on the street, and because of these uncertainties, the stress build up everyday. And these can lead to mental illness and family problems

its not the 1st time the loan shark had been harassing my family already.
it was my brother,he's only 20 this year, started betting on online soccer bets website etc etc
at first , he won a little , which got him really into gambling afterwards.

then , when he started losing , he borrowed money from poly friends, gaming friends, relatives and whoever he could thought of to pay his debt off from the soccer bets website.
of course he went to my parents b4 them.
expected , my parents gave him a harsh warning , cane him etc etc
back then he was only 18.
once , he owe loan shark about 30k++ and he stole my mum's jewellery and rolex watch from my dad and bottles and bottles of wine to turn into cash in return to the loan shark. that makes my parents totally give up on him and my dad even fainted when he found out about this. nevertheless, when we thought everything was over, he did it again...

over the past 2 years , he didnt change but he got bolder and bet even more like 1k 2k 5k on a single match , and when he lose , he go to my dad thinking that my dad is his ATM when my dad only holds a job that pays him 2k a month. counselling was done but he just wont change!!!!

and just last week , he move to my grand's hse to live because he dont wanna stay at home anymore.
thinking that all was alright , a phone call called our hse again to look for my brother and threaten to set fire on our hse if we failed to pay up tonight..
dad called home and said brother owe $35k again along with 20 sets of loan shark....
dad was firm not to pay anymore because he really do not have the $$ already and if we paid now and my bro borrow again , the cycle just repeats itself...
dad was so helpless and keep asking me what should we do next? why did our family end up like this? but i couldn't answer his question ...

all we did was to report to the police and cover plastic sheet on our main door..

im really very helpless now, facing the main door open to do a lookout while doing my project work late every night till 3 or 4 am ... but how long can this last??

Nowadays people pay assasin to kill loan shark. So instead of paying money to loan shark should hire assasin. Nah, I am joking, dun take me seriously.

Only way is to send yer bro to foreign country, then only he experience change n independence. Send him to Indon lah. There got fewer gambling problem. To some muslim village where people r pious n dun gamble wan.

Gambling was NEVER the problem, it is the people who cannot control themselves that is the problem.

I do gamble, about $1-2 per toto draw and it's not affecting my lifestyle because I know how to control myself. I don't bet big (or even exceed $3 per draw) when group 1 is big because I know the odds are still the same. Occasionally, I do win some small amounts (and once grp 3) and reward myself with small treats and it's fun gambling.
