Love is an abstract word. I think yuo are referring to puppy
love. When you first start to woo the girl and go dating, you feel
love on cloud nine. But when your relationship start to get
serious, you both talk about decision to stay together, where
to stay, what to buy, how to share the expenses, which curtain is
nice....all the puppy love is evaporated...
So you cannot be in love all the time.
Relationship is about commitment to somebody and doing things
together. When you are at that stage love is unconditional. No more
being in love.
So just because you see somebody in a relationship or marriage,
doesn't mean that they are always in love. There will always be
disagreements, arguments along with the pleasure of enjoying
marriage and raising kids.
So your decision to get commitment should not be on the basis of
puppy love. It should be whether, you and your other half love each
other very much and can get along with. If you haven't found
somebody you like and who can like you too, you should continue to
stay single until you find somebody.
Refuse to go into relationship should be on the basis of your
belief system and perhaps you want more freedom and independence.
But if your basis for being alone is because you cannot take
rejection...you are a fool. Rejection is everywhere. Your friends
can reject you. Your family can reject you (such as chocochips).
Your boss can reject you. Your colleagues can reject you. You
cannot avoid rejection. Take it like a man...sober and grow up.
