I have a friend in school. He’s really anonying and everyone
hates him. They started to hate him becoz of a few guys from his
old school that told everyone(On the 1st day of school) all the bad
things he did in the old school. But personally, i dont think he’s
that bad NOW, mayb it was just LAST YEAR.
So, should i join the rest so as to not get hated by them? Or do
the right thing(I guess) and try to make friends with that guy and
mayb try to change the way my other classmates see him?

It is not wrong to ostracise someone, but doing so one becomes a
jerk/douchebag.
