Back to the topic, oh mine, myself as a gal believe that we, the modern gal, do not go for such jewellery stuff, we prefer if our bf or hubby to be gives us...

its been ages since i last started a new topic but this thread is for serious replies because it concerns my future...

lately, whenever my gf and i go out, she would walk in and out of jewellery shops, looking at the rings on sale...it must be noted tat she doesnt only look at expensive ones but also cheap ones...also she is not one who clad herself wif lots of accessories...

juz last nite, it suddenly dawned on me if she could be hinting me abt our engagement...we have discussed alot concerning our future like marriage, kids and our future home...one thing she did say a few times to me is that we can 1st have engagement ring then wedding ring...so wad do u forumers tink? is she hinting me concerning engagement from her actions???

When do you think is a good time to have a kid?

When do you think we should have a place we call our own?

Or do it the man's way.

Not to scare you (ts), marriage takes lots of committment and financial strain (housing and kids and parents), lots of times spend on children, household chores and money set aside for family expenses. Can you do this?

currently, we are not looking at kids yet...so its more of enjoying and going thru life as a couple for say another 1-2years...tat alone we can manage...financially, no worries...household chores, we have experienced doing tgr(cos i stay over at her place on wkends)...so far so gd...

Engagement is about putting down committment of both parties in black and white. If you are ready for marriage soon, just sign the engagement paper and prepare for the next stage to marriage.

i noe tat but theres this thing in r/s esp wif gals...dont ask them for direct answers, it sort of kills the suspense and fun...plus, if u ask for direct answers, somehow i feel it may blow the chances...i dunno...wad do u tink?

TS, it seems you not only miss out on your gf hints about buying a ring... but you are also missing out on her hints about which type of rings she likes.... that is the more important question! the hint that you should buy a ring is so obvious that its not even a hint... the hint about which ring she likes is the one you should try to understand lah!

Take note which ring she likes so you can buy the right one... after that, i'm sure you don't need our help to think of how to propose....
