hmmm... if you guys are comfortable around each other doesn't
necessarily mean that you guys are compatible with each other. it
just means that maybe as friends, you guys are willing to overlook
certain points about each other that might potentially annoy
you.
she tells you that you has a bad attitude and lousy character. it's
perfectly normal that she made it clear to you that you two
shouldn't get together, at least in her opinion. while on the
surface it really sucks, but if you add a litle perspective, it
just means that she cares enough about your friendship that she
doesn't want to take the risk. what if things don't work out? it'll
be very difficult for you two to become friends again. no matter
how close you become again after things don't turn out the way you
want it to, there would still be some sense of awkwardness.
her reason might sound like crap to you, but remember that in a
relationship it takes two hands to clap. it might not sound
justified to you, but to her it probably makes perfect sense.
now i wanna ask you though, how much do you like her? back to what
i was saying at first... friends are willing to overlook. if you
get together as a couple the flaws in the other person might become
even more prominent. i'm not saying she's a bad person, i'm saying
that everyone has their own flaws. nobody is perfect. so yeah, how
much do you like her? if you really love her, and really care for
her, you would definitely be willing to overlook these flaws in her
character. it's an almost impossible thing to do, cause if it was
possible, there wouldn't be any conflicts in this world. but if you
really love her, then it's easy. if you really love her, you should
let her know. not just by words, by actions as well. you should let
her know how you really feel, and how much she means to you.
all these may sound like cliches but then again, there's a reason
why these things could be called cliches. cause most cliches are
true. people only realise it when they actually go through certain
experiences in their lives.
