Hi everyone,
I'm currently seeking help or advises on my family debts issues
that was contributed solely by 1 person. My sis.
Is there anywhere official i can go to get help on it?
She is constantly in debt, never stops and my parents had to
keep clearing the holes she dug while she digs more.
I'm really sick and tired of it already, its almost SGD30k ~
SGD50k since her first debt.
Please I need serious help.
and also to add on, my dad is the only 1 working. He needs to
pay for all the bills and car instalment. My sis totally doesnt
care. She just keep on doing her things her ownway. Not picking up
calls or working at all, just disappear everyday to Gods know
where. The only times when she is pushed to the corner by the debt
collectors, she cried and blahblahblah to my parents and end up
they are paying for it. Then the cycle repeats again, she disappear
and doesnt pick our phone calls, treating our house like her hotel
in vacation. Return only to sleep and eat.
She is taking our help for granted. No appreciation. No thanks.
No remorse. No Change. Nothing.
your parents are not stupid. They don't need your advise to plan
for their retirements.
As long as you do not get yourself into trouble they are very
happy already.
Tell your parents very clearly, you are well aware of what your
sis is doing and Do not drag you into the mud.
She can only cry to your parents and take them for granted
limited times. In the end, she is proving to people around her how
untrustworthy she is.
If your parents still choose to keep "enabling" her , then you
need to steel your heart and turn your backs to them.
Learn to say "No" if they expects you to help her out.
