How do you deal a later's 70 mother?

Hi, this is my first time here in sgfurom . I hope someone can help me.

1)i got an old age mother who are stubbornness,over suspicion ,sensitive , unresonable and selfish woman and face-saving. who is also a stock additiver and gambler with cash rich of 100k in cash and 110k in stock. who basically know nothing about stock and share market. who expected 1k of pocket allowance for her monthly
2) her husband who is a termially ill cancer patient have to be a karung guni man to collect karung guni to earn extra pocket money .
3)Her sons(single and in his mid 30s and a part-time student) working in a unglamorous job earn tiny mileage of money who has to toll day and night .
4) she will not accompany her husband to hospital for check up. and rather stay at home and watch teletext.

Can someone give me some advice or how deal with it?

i am just his project mate in school and i hate to see him in agony and his grade is not bad but due this . His result is falling and neglected in his course work . *cos it affect our project* .

Yes talk to your teacher about it and also let your teacher know about other classmates making fun of your friend. This must be stop as it will have a bad impact on your friend studies and social life.

I am sure your teacher will be able to assess your friend dread situation.

simply means be dutiful as it should be as they are your parents...to change a person overnight especially whose mentality has been fixed over such long time is near impossible...if its a genuine case....seek family counselling help if u cannot do it on your own...

what u have experienced in your current stage of life, dun brood over it...once u r free from that attachment, begin anew and never falter back to their same mentality...

Even if we tell you how to deal with it, you are too young and junior to deal with it.

The only thing you can do is to go and kill yourself if you cannot love, respect and accept her.

Why must you do that? Because she have lived and walked upon this Earth longer than you.

If you truly want to help her.....

Why don't you offer to accompany her to visit her husband?

Why don't you help her husband in his garang guni work?

Is this your project mate?

Frankly, you can't do anything about the parents. The only thing that can be done is give them money, endless amount, and even that is useless as they won't be happy or grateful. So just let them be.

As for your project mate, he can do something about himself. He must strive to overcome the odds, and better himself. He can only save himself first, before he can help others.

Tell him to concentrate on passing the course, for his own betterment.
