TTFU - the brain damage is as i described in the original
post.
before the accident, s/he is a loving, reasonable and fully
functional person. after the accident, he suffers from the
after-effects. there is no physical damage, just brain damage
and psychological impact affecting his thought pattern, behaviour
and emotions such that you cannot have a "normal" relationship
with him/her and communication is very difficult.
