A statement from the CEO of 'MP & SILVA' (Media rights
holder of Serie A) to all Serie A fans , as well as the Press in
S'pore - “It has been brought to our attention that the large
community of Serie A supporters in Singapore has expressed their
disappointment with the cessation of Serie A broadcasts, and the
lack of opportunity to support their favourite teams on television.
We would like to highlight that since early this year, every possible effort has been taken to provide
all broadcasters with reasonable packages in bid to secure
television coverage for Serie A to cater to local football
fans. However, we regret to inform that in spite of our best
efforts, none of the broadcasters have indicated their interest to
broadcast Serie A as yet,” said Andrea Radrizzani, Group CEO, MP
& Silva. “We have been able to offer Serie A fans to football
fans across Asia, with Singapore being one of the few exceptions.
As the international rights-holder for Serie A, we would also like
to offer our sincere apologies to fans and supporters in Singapore,
and we will put in our best efforts to work with various parties to
bring the Italian league back on local television screens.”
What the hell are the two telcos doing? why are they still not
doing anything? It's not about the price! MP & Silva is doing
all they can and the two telcos are doing nothing!!!!!!<!--
