recently? 7888 have parked in AMDEP for at least 3 month (till dec) before being moved away.... no visible damage on body when parked in AMDEP, except for small crack at the front top section... so you mean it went to service recently and gotten an accident?

SMRT probably would only select two buses at a time for a lay up wave; most of the DAFs are still around but they are slowly being phased out, like what happened to 713J. They may have wanted the Volgrens to be gone back in May 2015 as evidenced by the road tax non-renewal notice, but for unknown reasons they continued with it. They should have just scrapped the old rigids sooner as they need more space for more HC buses.
