not sure whether this is off topic but i waited for
Sv 950 at JB customs towards
Singapore Customs for 2hours yesterday
(Sunday) around 9pm. Is 950 under BSEP? Only saw 4 Sv 950 buses
towards JB Sentral in a span of 2 hours while 170/170x had about 10
buses coming.
When it finally come everyone in the haotic and messy 2 storey
queue all the way from the immigration level to the bus berths
rushed and pushed, fought to get on board the bus. Very chaotic
situation even though 950 has many buses.
Cause? : I asked the Sv 950 BC why it took him 2 hours to
arrive. He said that the Illegal parking of motorcycles and private
buses along Jalan
Lingkaran Dalam, entrance to JB Customs bus
bay blocked the long queue of buses and
the Malaysian Authorities didnt even bother to get them to move.
Therefore, 950 was stuck there for 2 hours.
I believe that the Sv 950 queue was only cleared after 12
Midnight as the buses only started to stroll in after 10:45PM. (2
hour wait after 8:55pm)
Not surprised by yr comments. Firstly no cross border route are
under BSEP. Secondly, 2storey queue is not a rare sight at JB
customs especially during weekends, be it 160/170/170X, CWs, 950,
AC7 etc.. Frequency of 170/170X is also much better than that of
950.(10 buses is considered little for 170/170X for 2 hours in
fact).
There are many causes for delays for cross borders route(not
sure if yr cause is common). But sometimes when jams occur, BCs
just skip trips or u-turn at JB customs in order to catch up with
their subsequent ones, which may explain yr long wait.
