Its not speculation bro,Already inside GAS bus service and its said to start from Punggol.

Sbs 68 starts from Punggol, the town which is so badly connected before all these BSEP enhancements (382, 386, 117,118) come in and it is still one of the only towns without a direct basic trunk service to the city area up until today. So may I know where is the destination of sbs 68 since the route cannot be divulged? Cheers. Thanks.

Pardon my cynism but I have a feeling its another useless duplicate service that goes to places like Sengkang, Upper Serangoon, Pasir Ris or Tampines.

I could be wrong though. It could be another 972.

Yes,After a few LTA introduced trunk service,I learn not to hope for much.All the talk is about freq,Reduce bunchings,Maintain headways,Cannot early cannot late more than 5 mins as if we are robots..

I heard the BCs which follow TT and GA is working less than 5 years for the incumbents.Old timers also very smart cause if they pension or get retrench they get more $$$$$ from their respective company.

I thought 68 was the short trunk from Pasir Ris-Tamp Ave 4 (Loop) according to the map shown at the bus carnival? Has it been changed?

They will face a challenge trying to pool standby buses.

Perhaps the day will come in Singapore where the managers/supervisors themselves have to drive spare buses and enter revenue service.

Why does Punggol need another service right now? This is just beyond me... That too waste with using sv 68. I hoped they kept this for chopping of 67 instead.

The only trunk service I want to see in North East is a Sengkang-Whompoa service via Sengkang West Way to complement overly crowded sv 50.

Too early to say,Q4 only can finalise..Proposal is either Pasir Ris or Punggol.

Unless there is verification from the official sources, anything said here is only a rumour. I can also anyhow say that there will be a new bus service in Jurong West. Anyone can say anything. But without verification, it’s just rumours that we are talking about.

I feel that there will not be any BSEP improvement when a GCM package is being implemented. This is because resources is limited, and they cannot do both BSEP and GCM at the same time. So, this means there will not be any BSEP news in Q2 and Q3 this year.

If i disclose it now i will be breaching the company rules and regulations..You dont know anything i suggest you just keep your mouth shut.Its already inside Loyang 25 bus service package.You can bloody well carry on with your Jurong West antique for all i care.No one here force you to believe it.For your info i am back with the public transport industry after a long hiatus.

Hi mr gekpohboy, the official sources had already stated 25 bus services in Loyang depot package last year. It is confirmed that there are currently only 24 bus services and there is this additional bus service 68 inside go ahead group Singapore plans. The only thing not confirmed is the interchange/terminal to start and end with. But logically since go ahead group Singapore controls changi village, changi airport Terminal, pasir ris and Punggol interchange, sbs 68 must start from either of these 4. So naturally people are guessing currently. From my opinion, I think it is pasir ris. We shall continue to wait to see the results.

Some items can be treated as rumours. Some items have already been made known and are not considered rumours. You need to differentiate between either of these. Cheers. Thanks.

the bus service 68 should start from Punggol since 62 terminates there.

Punggol to Pasir Ris already has svc 3, very unlikely the route of 68.

Punggol to Changi Airport also out, covered by service 34.

68's other termination point could be Bukit Merah or Eunos.
