Option 1: Service 700 can be diverted via 171's route and another part of Dairy Farm Road. It provides connectivity along Hillview Station to Dairy Farm and Skywoods. 171 can be shortened to Bukit Panjang.

Option 2: Service 67 can be diverted via Eng Neo Avenue, PIE, BKE, Bukit Panjang Road instead of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road/Bukit Timah Road. By right on this roads no one took 67. Then 171 can increase reliability with additional double decker or bendy buses.

Ngee Ann poly students still count on 67 to get to CCK direct.

Service 150 currently operates from Eunos Bus Interchange and provides Marine Crescent and Terrace residents with a direct link to the nearest transport node at Eunos Bus Interchange. In addition, Service 150 provides Telok Kurau residents with a direct link to Eunos Bus Interchange on top of existing Service 15 and 155, thereby reducing overall waiting time. Local connectivity is also enhanced with new link between Telok Kurau and Marine Crescent Market and Food Centre.

We wish to highlight that the proposed amendment of Service 150 to serve East Coast Park and then turn back to Marine Terrace via Marine Parade Road would not be technically feasible due to the existing Left-in-Left-out junction between Marine Parade Road and Marine Crescent i.e. Service 150 would not be able to ply Marine Crescent and make a right turn back to Telok Kurau Road towards Eunos Interchange as proposed, thus contradicting the intended purpose to serve both Marine Crescent and Marine Terrace residents. Furthermore, significant resources will be needed for such a long extension of Service 150. Such resources are finite and have to be carefully prioritised amongst the many areas of need.

For the travel to East Coast Park, Eunos residents can take Service 150 and alight along Marine Crescent or Marine Terrace, where they can then access East Coast Park via the underpass.

In view of the above, there are no plans to extend Service 150 to East Coast Park.

Comments on new bus services 127 and 129:

129 - the route damn unique. could have been just TPY to Jln Tentaram, but extending it to Tampines is a good idea. Can benefit Temasek Poly students living in Toa Payoh. :)

127 - Route very similar to 72. Obviously for the upcoming Wafer labs. Loading will be similar to 256 - cui.

Hi mr gekpohboy, 127 also need to connect tampines ave 9 to tampines concourse. Currently no service connects it. So no choice. Sometimes it is not always about the loading. Direct connection is a must. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr gekpohboy, no need to close. Route suggestions is anytime. It does not depend on any factors. As for LTA BSEP and new bus services threads, there is no need to close. Without BSEP, there will always be new services coming up as long as there are HDB flats being built and new roads being built. I understand the frequency of new bus services introduction or amendments may still be much slower but there will always be demands. No need close threads. Cheers. Thanks.

I've been observing at Bedok Mall bus stop 7:30pm and after, demand for 28 is huge but SDs come quite often.

I think 28 should be full fleet DD. Some services spam DD for no use, but 28 which demand is high has so many SDs.

28 has 5 SDs... you can argue that when 46, 117 etc. have DDs then 28 should def be full fleet DD.

If that was not the case, it is okay for 28 to have few SDs because you have sv 24 & 67 in parallel for long stretch of its route and sv 28's demand is uni-directional.

Maybe the timing of the SDs is not right just in many cases they deploy DDs in the off-peak direction.

But I agree both 28 and 67 have v heavy loading from 630-745pm at Bedok MRT stop.

28 should have a 28M loop somewhere at bedok. like 31A looped at this TM MRT station for ITE student.
